Environmental Health & Research

The Prince Albert Grand Council is responsible for providing the Environmental Public Health Program (EPHP) services to the PBCN communities.  While we are not responsible for providing EPHP services, we are committed to working with our partners - PAGC and Northern Inter-Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) - to ensure that the service needs of our communities are identified and met.

The EPHP is a community-based program that aims to protect and improve First Nations living on-reserves through the reduction of health risks.  The EPHP also raises awareness of environmental public health hazards, such as water, food and vector borne illnesses including health problems associated with indoor air quality, mould in housing and pest control.
